ORDINANCE NO. 01-859
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY SUSPENDING SECTIONS 3414 AND 3415 OF THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO PROHIBITION OF SOLICITATION
OF EMPLOYMENT OR BUSINESS FROM PUBLIC STREETS AND
PLACES AND TO SOLICITATION FROM VEHICLES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Due to pending litigation, Sections 3414 and 3415 of the provisions of the Municipal
Code and all of the provisions of Ordinance No. 99 -832 are hereby suspended and shall not be enforced
until further order of the City Council.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in a newspaper circulated in the City of
Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 21st day of August, 2001.

introduced at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 7th day of
August, 2001, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the
Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of August, 2001, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Souder, Vizcarra, Zovak, Gillanders, Wilson
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
