the minutes of the last meetirg were read and signed.
The Chairman of the finance committee presented a report of the Sergeant
and that o* the Treasurer for tee year ending Sept 1st 1921,and recommended
that same be published in the local press. After sumo discussion of the
matter,the Mayor requested that an additional report of the Sergeant and Treas-
urer be made covering the period from Sept 1st 1921 to March 1st 1922.
The fire committee made a verbal report as to the nece9sity o* a new hose
and ladder for the fire department. Tdr. L.T.Fry was instructed to com.ntni-
Cate with the manufacturer of fire hose and request that a rpresentative be
sent with samples.

for the Dumping station.

The Chairman of the Water Committee reported that the lcrool Board desired

Building. On motio made and carried,the Chairman of the 'rater co=ittee
was emposered to act in this matter.

Places in the different streets that needed immediate attertion,the Street
V Commissioners were instructed to repair then at once and they were further
ir;structed that they had authority to make necessary repairs at atty tiwe with-
r out bringing the matter to tte 44ttention of the Council when the cost did not
exceed more than X25. on any street.
On motion Lade and carried it was ordered that Wirt street beput in goo"
•�t'1 condition from Market street south as far as the sewer extended.
Petition of L.A. Scott for gas tark in front of tis garaga was laid on ti,e
able for further irvegtigation by the finance committee.
The sergeant was instructed to have the reoorted nuisance ir, the rear
of Cohn's plgre abated at once.
On motion the Council adjourned.

The Chairman of the wire Committee reported that he had heard nothing
from the Manufacturers. The Hater Committee reported that nothing had
been done in the matter of water supply for the lichool Building.
Mr -Ewing, reported in matbr of npplication of Lesbr Scott for gas
tank in fro-nt of his place on market; street that there rould be nu ad-
ditional cT:arge fur irsurance on adjacent property by reason o" the

The Pinance Committee reported that the Auditor re.s not ready to ma"I
