The minuten of the last meeting were read and signed.
Mr. Forsyth reported that the painting of the water tower was progress-
ing favorably.
Rill of United .States Rubber Cc ,for $575. was presented and referred
to Finance Committee.
Bill of Carey Machinery & Supply Co.,for OW52.10 was presented and
ordered paid.
Bids of J.H.Turley and that of Johnson Taylor for laying sewer on
Royal Streets between Ring and Church Streets were opened and mater
re'erred to Committee on streets,
Finance committee was requested to look into the matter of taxes on
Batik Stock.
Moved,seeonded and carried that Mr.Forsythe Sergeant be given 15 days
vacation with nay,vaeation period to begin Sept 1.192.2.
t'r. Sa,&r er reported that the trap at corner of Market and Wirt Streets
wap completely filled with sand. Mater was refered to Mr. W.C.Whitmore
for exa..ination.
bIr Fry reported that the members of the Fire Company were dissatis-
fied with the amount of pay they received for their services,whereupon
u it was wuved,seconded ani carried that they be given $20. each per year
