Caviness occupying the Chair,i:ayor Harrison delivered a forceful talk in which he thanked the Fire Co. for their courageous work in combating the School House fire of Feb. 2nd. last, concluding liis remarks with a strong appeal for better protection against fire. Lessrs. Clemens and CJhitmore were appointed a coh nittee to report on a motor fire apparatus, tine Commitee to be cowposed of a similiar N committee from the Fire Co. Motinn- Duly Seconded and passed ullat the town pay the expenses of this Committee in making their investigations.
