on classification for Insurancu liates and advised that forthe town

he promised to send to tiie Council.
i�x. -eon Frye then made a short address in which he strongly
urged tiie purchase of a fire engine of greater capacity ti,aE any
os those previuosiy considered and recommended a 600 gal. capacity
engine.
kx. Caviness occupying the Chair,i:ayor Harrison delivered a
forceful talk in which he thanked the Fire Co. for their courageous
work in combating the School House fire of Feb. 2nd. last, concluding
liis remarks with a strong appeal for better protection against fire.
Lessrs. Clemens and CJhitmore were appointed a coh nittee to report
on a motor fire apparatus, tine Commitee to be cowposed of a similiar
N committee from the Fire Co.
Motinn- Duly Seconded and passed
ullat the town pay the expenses of this Committee in making their
investigations.
RESOLV--U;- that the town of Leesburg extend thanks to the
Purcellville Fire Co. for their prompt response to an appeal frui,;
Q Leesburg for asssistanue iii combating the fire at the School House,

i%r. George Hughed for his activity in assisting the Fire Co. during
