AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE
WEST CARTERET TRAFFIC DIVERSION PLAN WITH T&M
ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specializing engineering
services in connection with the West Carteret Traffic Diversion Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's consulting engineers, T&M Associates possesses the
requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, T&M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services
at a total cost not to exceed $10,000; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and the Council of
the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from T&M Associates for engineering services related to
the West Carteret Traffic Diversion Plan at a total cost not to exceed
$10,000 is hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award ora professional services contract.
3. The copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and T&M Associates.
Adopted this 5th day of June, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 6, 2003.
