Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop of the President and the Board of Trustees Held on July 9, 2018 At the Plainfield Public Works Facility Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Board Present: Mayor Collins, Trustee Bonuchi, Trustee Lamb, Trustee Larson, Trustee O'Rourke, and Trustee Wojowski. Board absent: Trustee Newton. Others present: Brian Murphy, Administrator; Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; Randy Jessen, Public Improvements Superintendent; Scott Threewitt, Lead Engineer; Doug Kissel, Wastewater Superintendent; Dan Biermann, Water Superintendent; Derek Wold, Engineer; Brendt Pendry, Engineer; Jon Proulx, Planning Director; Lonnie Spires, Building Inspector; and Traci Pleckham, Management Services Director; and John Konopek, Police Chief. There were 2 persons in the audience. Trustee Lamb moved to approve the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop held on June 25, 2018. Second by Larson. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried. PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS No Comments TRUSTEE COMMENTS Trustee Bonuchi expressed concern regarding a proposal by GP Transco that is scheduled to be at a Village Board Meeting on July 16, 2018. There was some general discussion regarding this topic and general consensus to bring the topic to a Special Meeting and Committee of the Whole on July 23, 2018 for discussion. PUBLIC COMMENTS Mr. Jeff Snigowski, Renwick Road resident, expressed concern regarding the GP Transco proposal. The Mayor informed Mr. Signowski that the matter will be discussed at the July 23, 2018 Meeting. WORKSHOP 1) CAPITAL PROJECTS The Village staff gave a presentation regarding Capital Projects. The Village staff reviewed the 143rd Street Corridor, 143rd Street East Extension, 143rd Street West Extension, Village Green update, Annual Street Improvement Program, Canadian National Railroad Crossings, 127th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road Intersection Improvement, Renwick Road Reconstruction, Indian Boundary Road Structure, PACE Park-n-Ride, Pathways/Pedestrian Improvements, and the 119th Street Water Tower. Staff also gave a brief update on the Boundary Agreement with Naperville. Trustee Wojowski moved to adjourn. Second by Trustee O'Rourke. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed.
