A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE
CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE AND SIGN CHANGE ORDERS ON CITY PROJECTS;
PROVIDING A LIMIT TO SUCH AUTHORITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, under the City Manager form of government the Idaho
Legislature has given, pursuant to Section 50-811, Idaho Code,
the City Manager general supervisory authority over the business
of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has general authority to approve
expenditures and charges against the City; and,
WHEREAS, city projects are awarded and approved by City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 50-811.9, Idaho Code, the City
Council may by resolution give the City Manager authority to
perform duties the City Council establishes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MCCALL,
IDAHO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
The City Manager shall have authority to approve change orders,
as such are defined in the agreement between the City and the
Project Contractor, in amounts not to exceed $25,000.
Section 2:
The City Manager shall prepare a document stating that he has
approved such change order and the amount, if any, of such change
order.
Section 3:
This resolution shall be in effect upon passage and approval of
the City Council.
