WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Personnel called for an examination
for the position of
Police Sergeant
in the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Personnel has served a Certification
of Eligibles for Appointment, dated 6/17/03 for said position; and
WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Personnel has certified that

is eligible for the position of

in the Borough of Carteret;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that
KEVIN MAKWI_NSKI
be and is hereby appointed to the position of
Police Sergeant
of the Borough of Carteret from the Certification List dated
6/'17/03
as provided by law, effective 7/01/03
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appointment is contingent upon the
retirement of Lieutenant David LaPoint; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be sent forthwith
to the New Jersey Department of Personnel, CN 316, Trenton, N.J. 08625-0316.
