ORDINANCE NO. 03-882
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY RELATING TO COUNCILMATIC
COMPENSATION AND AMENDING THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 1, Section 2102 of Article II of the Temple City Municipal Code is amended to
read:
2102. EXPENSES AND COMPENSATION
Upon the submission of an itemized account any Councilman may be reimbursed for his actual
and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duty. Pursuant to Section 36516
of the Government Code of the State of California, each member of the City Council shall receive
as salary the sum of four hundred eighty dollars ($480) per month, with such adjustments as may
be permitted from time to time by State Law. Such salaries shall be payable in the same manner
and with similar fringe benefits as are paid to other employees of the City.

SECTION 2. This section shall become operative on fvlarch 182003.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and to its approval by the
Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the San Gabriel Valley Weekly, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Temple City.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 03 -882, was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 7th day of January, 2003, and was
duly passed, approved, and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk, at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of January, 2003, by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilman - Souder, Wilson, Zovak, Vizcarra, Gillanders
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
