CALL:TO: ORDER AND ROLL CAIJ:,
Mayor Giles called the special meeting of the McCall City Council to order at 4:00 p.m.
Mayor Giles, Council Member Maciaszek, Council Member Nelson, and Council Member
Thrower all answered roll call. Council Member Nielsen was absent.
City staff members present were Anette Spickard, City Manager; BessieJo Wagner, City Clerk;
Traci Malvich, Human Resources Manager.
Council Member Nelson moved to go into Executive session for:
• Hiring - Pursuant to Idaho Code §74-206 (1)(a): to consider hiring a public officer,
employee, staff member or individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of
individuals are to be evaluated in order to fill a particular vacancy or need. This
paragraph does not apply to filling a vacancy in an elective office or deliberations
about staffing needs in general; and
• Records - Pursuant to Idaho Code §74-206 (1) (d) To consider records that are exempt
from disclosure as provided in chapter 1, title 74, Idaho Code.
Council Member Thrower seconded the motion in a roll call vote Council Member Nelson,
Council Member Thrower, Mayor Giles, and Council Member Maciaszek all voted yes and
the motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
The City Council discussed the hiring of an Interim City Manager.

Select An Interim City Manager, direct staff to execute the Interim City Manager contract.
Council Member Thrower moved to appoint Phillip Kushlan to Interim City Manager.
Council Member Nelson seconded the motion. In a roll call vote Council Member Thrower,
Council Member Nelson, Mayor Giles, and Council Member Maciaszek all voted yes and the
motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Without further business, Mayor Giles adjourned the meeting at 4:18 p.m.
