Hi Marilyn,
write to confirm my two requests for information made at the 3/12 Town Council meeting:
* Please confirm Oakley Country Club's current Payment In Lieu of Taxes, and please include historical
information as well.
* I recently became aware that our upgraded CivicPlus technology is not compatible with the Watertown
Free Public Library website. This directly contracts what we were promised through the process of web
redesign and functionality upgrades. We were led to believe that this technology, as implemented, would
not only be easier to work with, but it would also improve communications for our town. I am appalled that
using CivicPlus has basically broken things that were already working on the library site. I want to know
how, and when, Administration is going to remedy this situation; this is not a trivial matter. It is not
acceptable that in working to improve our website and pay for an upgraded redesign, we have worsened
the engagement and communication ability for taxpayers and staff.
