At a regular meeting of the Mayor and Town Council, held in the Council
Chambers on October 28, 1935, there were present:
E. N. Bradfield, mayor, Hurst K. Lefferts, Recorder, H. F. Newton,
W. E, Plaster, Herbert Howard, J. H. Turley, L. C. Rollins and R. D.
Shroy, Councilmen.
Mr, R. R. Cutler of the Rust Engineering Company notified the Council
that the plans and specifications of the sewerage system and disposal
plant were accepted by the P. 11. A. on October 28, 1935. He also cautions

that borpr plans and specifications must be kept on file before the public
at all times during business hours.
It was moved, seconded and carried that an advertise^ent be put in the
Loudoun Times*Mirror of the issue of October 31st, 1935, giving information
for the proposed bond issue by means of questions and answers on the
sewerage system and disposal plant, also hand bills are to be printed "rom
the ad and be placed in conspicuous places.
It was moved, seconded and ca ried that the Town Council submit a proposal
of a lease to yir. Ben. r'. Pitts for the rental of the Town gall property.
The lease prepared by the Mayor was submitted to '`,r. Pitts for his appro-
val, a copy of which lease is as follows and made a part of the records
of this meeting.
It was moved, seconded and duly carried that the opposition made by '.lr.
Robert L. Preston to the paring of automobiles in front of his premises
be indefinitely tabled.
It was moved, seconded and duly carried that the Tow^_ Hall Committee ma'.:e
an investigation into insurance rates on the Town Hall pronerty and report
its finding to the next meeting of the Town Council.
A Comnittee consisting of H. 1. Newton and L. C. Hollins was appointed for
the purpose of encouraging and requiring property owners to clean up their
back yards.
The following bill was approved and ordered paid:

On 'lotion duly made and seconded, the Treaurer is hereafter req'=fired
to present monthly to the Town Council an ite-ized and detailed statement
of all bills paid by him during the preceeding month.
The e being no further business, on motion the Council was adJourned.
