Lefferts BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council for the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, in regular session at the "vlayort s Office in said Town on this 25th day of November, 1935: That a special election be held in the Town of Leesburg in Virginia, on Monday, the 16th day of December, 1935, to elect a recorder to fill the unexpired term of Hurst A. Lefferts, resigned; That the members of the Electoral :L�oard for Loudoun County, Virginia, be and they are hereby rea,.u�ested to make necessary pre- parations for holding said election; That the clerk of the Court for Loudoun County, Virginia, be and he is hereby requested, ordered and directed to certify to the Elec- toral Board of Loudoun County, Virginia, any and all persons who, in accordance with law, have duly notified the said clerk of his or their intention to become a candidate for the office of recorder to fill the unexpired term of the said Hurst A. Lefferts; That the Electoral Ooard for Loudoun County, Virginia, be and it is hereby requested, ordered and directed to cause to be printed ballots for said special election in accordance with law; That the Electoral B=oard for Loudoun County, Virginia, be and it is hereby requested, ordered and directed to notify and direct the judges and clerks of election to serve and hold said special election in accordance i^;ith law; That the Sergeant of the 'Town of Leesburg in Virginia, be re- cuested and he is hereby authorized and directed and shall forthwith serve a duly certified copy of this ordinance on the Clerk of the Court for Loudoun County, Virginia, and that the said Sergeant shall immediately thereafter make report of his action in serving such no- tics; hat the Sheriff of Loudoun County, Virginia, be and he is h authorized, directed, ordered and requested to forthwith serve a 191
