RIDER TO BE i11TACHLD TO AND FORMA P,�RT OF BOLT NO. SB -715052.
KNOW ALL I'MTT BY THESE PRESENTS: Whereas, '1'He. AETNA CASUALTY AND SURETY COMPANY OF
HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT appears as Surety on the attached bond of JvtiN F. '1'HOLIPSON
running to the Town of Leesburg, Virginia as obligee in the penal sum of 'three 'thousand
and 00/100 ($3000.00) Dollars, reference to which said bond is hereby made for a more
particular description, and
,jHEREAS the 'mown council of Leesburg, Virginia by a Resolution passed at a
session held on the 14th day of October, 1935 resolved that the penalty of said bond
be reduced to Two Thousand and 00/100 ($2,000.00) dollars, and
,;nMEAS, the said Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia has requested TIL AETNA
CASUALTY &ND SURETY CO10ANY to reduce the penalty of said bond accordingly, such
reduction to be effective or. the 14th of uctober, 1935
NOH 'ffL- EFORE, in eonsideratiun of the premises and the stipulated premium,
THE AETNA C_49UALTY AND SUiiETY cohIPANY hereby consents and agrees that, on ano after the
14th day of October, 19359 the penalty specified in the attached bond hereinbefore
described, No. SFi-715052 on which JOHN F. ':HOMPSON is Principal, THE AETNA CASUALTY
AND SURETY CO!.'PAATY is Surety, and the 'Town of Ledsburg, virginia is Obligee, be
changed from the sum of 'Three •thousand and 00/100 ($3,000.00) dollars to the sum of
Two 'Thousand and 00/100 ($2,000.00) dollars, subject to all the terms and conditions
of said bond, the liability of the Surety to be reduced accordingly.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that there shall be no cumulative liability against THE
AETNA CASUALTY UITTD SURETY CO.PANY on the attached bond or any continuations thereof
of this instrument, and
PROVIDED, FURTT:`?.R, that 'PHS AETNA C,ISUALTY AND SURETY CuMPANY shall be liable
only on behalf of the said JOHN F. THOMPSON according to the terms of its said bond,
No. SB -715052 and not to exceed the penalty thereof, for any act or default committed
prior to the date on which this change becomes effective, and shall be liable only on
behalf of said JOHN F. 1t10LIPSON according to the penalty of said bond as changed by
this instrument, for any act or default committed subsequent to the date of said
change, and the liability of 'I!M AETNA CASUALTY AND SJk"TY CU..PANY on behalf of said
JOHN F. 1Hob1'SON for any act or default shall not exceed the amiunt of the liability
assumed by it at the time the act or default was committed, and in no event shall such
liability exceed the largest amount assumed by it in behalf of the above-named Principl.

rider to be signed by its officers proper for the purpose, and its corporate seal to
be hereto affixed this 17th day of llecember, 1935.
