HomeMy Public PortalAbout03-17-1969The Planning Commission of the Village of Medina met in regular session March 17, 1969 at 8:30 P.M. Bob Roehl. Chairman and Ted Lockwood,, Tom Stevens., Erdman present. Anne Dorweiler arrived later. Minutes_ of the Feb.. 17 meeting approved asread. and Arnold Public hearing for rezoning of south 578 ft of lot 25, Auditor's Subdivision n241, Henn. Co. from RA, or Rl as, shown by zoning map, to RC, as requested by Julius Dorweilert owner of said land. Moved by Ted Lockwood to rezone above named property to RC zoning.. Seconded by Arnold Erdman. Motion Carried. Mr Fred Herfurth appeared with regard to securing permission for a variation in the rear yard requirement, on Old Woods Farm. Moved by Ted Lockwood that we recommend that council approve the 15 ft. setback from the north property line of Lot 1,. Block 14 Old Woods: Farm,,f or Mr. Peter Bergsten, pending the village_ attorneys_ findings. Seconded by Tom Stevens.. Motion carried. Dr. K..L. Dedeker appeared with a sketch for a future subdivision and to request a building permit on his lot at this time. Tom Stevens moved that with the information available we approve a building permit on the K. L. Dedeker property.. Council should refer to previous minutes that approved the permit for Dr. Olson. Arnold Erdman seconded the motion.. Motion carried. Mr_.. Scott Luers_ appeared with a. preliminary plat for the fourth add- ition to Medina Morningside. Tom Stevens moved that we grant preliminary approval for the plat for the fourth addition to Medina Morningside. Seconded by Arnold Erdman. Motion carried. Barr. â–ºWallace Doerr appeared to get some information on the zoning of his_ property and possible uses_ in the future. No action was taken. Mr:. Bill Cavanaugh appeared with a subdivion sketch and road plan for his Industrial property next to the Village water tower s.ite, and explained that he needed some action taken on,the road plan, because the Village needed another 50 feet of property immediatly north of the well. site, and that his 60 ft. road next to the, well site would meet this requirement. Therefore: Tom Stevens moved that we accept the preliminary plat of Bill_ Cavanaugh's.property. Seconded By Tad Lockwood. Motion carried. Tam Stevens moved that the meeting be adjourned..
