• BE IT ORDAINED , by the Council of the Town of Leesburg , •
in Virginia that the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby
authorized , instructed and directed to repair the Rutter , by
laying concrete pipe underground , on the West side of South
King Street between the fashtflgton Coca . Cola Bottling Works '
- premises and the town branch.
There being no further business , On motion duly made ,
seconded and carried the Council adjourned .

At a Special meeting of the !Mayor and Tom Council of the
town of Leesburg , in Virginia held in the Council Chamber on Tuesday
April 5 , 1936 at 7 :30 P. M. there were present ; Lucas D. Phtllips ,
Mayor ; Louis T. Titus ,Recorder , Roy M. Flippo , J . T. Hourihane ,
Lawrence S. Hutchison , L. C: Hollins add Joseph E. Turley , Council-
men.
The, minutes of the last regular meeting were read and
approved .
Therteweresno objections to the proposed Budget .
' Ordinance presented to the Council' by the Finance Committee on
March 14 , 1938 and recently published in The Loudoun Times Mirror
a newspaper published in the town of Leesburg , Virginia .

The Recorder read the proposed Tax and License Ordinance
for the fiscal year beginning July 1 , 1938 and ending June 30 , 1939 .
Mr. Westmoreland Davis appeared and made the Council an
offer to publish the aforesaid Tax and License Ordinance in The
Loudoun Times Mirror , a newspaper published in the Town of Leesburg ,
Virginia for the sum of one dollar ( $1 .00) . The said offer was made
as a standing one .
On motion of Councilman Turley seconded by Councilman
Flippo and unanimously carried ,the matter of publication of the
above mentioned Tax and License Ordinance was laid on the table
until the next meeting.
There being no further business , on motion duly made ,
seconded and carried , the Council adjourned .
