BOROUGH OF CARTERET COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY
RESO.L~UTION FIXING THE SEWER UTILITY CONNECTION FEE FOR
2003
WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility connection fee shall be recomputed at the end of each
fiscal year as prescribed in P.L. 1057, C.183.; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has engaged for the compilation of Sewer Utility
Connection Dee as o£ December 31, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility connection Fee computation has been completed and
the Mayor and governing body desire to fix such fee for the year 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has amended Ordinance #88-14 to provide a range for
Sewer Utility connection fee to be fixed pursuant to resolution of the governing
body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and the Borough
Council, of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey that the
following Sewer Utility connection fee be set for 2003 as follows:
Section 207-22 Fee Schedule Established
A. Private Residences: $3,000. Per unit.
B. Industrial and Commercial Structures: a fixed fee of $3,000., plus a
supplemental charge for flow rate in excess of 85,000 gallons per year in
addition to calculation of BOD and suspended solids.
Adopted this 9th day of July, 2003 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on July 10, 2003.
