M. on Friday, August 23, 1946, which was the first regularly scheduled meeting of the Council. here Were present: Aldermen Glann E. Maann'.ck„ G?orga M. Whittaker, and Willard W. Webb, Absent: Aldermen ^,hxrlay R. Graham and gay Semmes Also present were Mary Wette er, Village ;jerk, and J. Julien Gunther - land, Village Attorney. The meeting was called to order by the president, of the Council, Mr. Wil .ord. H. Webb, and the minutes of the prealowt meeting were rend. M. in the Administration Building in the Vi.11oge. There were present the fallewine Ceun llmen: lees:rs. 'Ceeetes H. Graham, blenn. _ teasnick, Ray Semmes, Jr., W. H. Webb, ,earge M, 'eeitteeer. J. Julien. Souther]Fend, Mayor and Village Attorney, and Mary Wetterer, Village Clerk, were also present. The President of the Council, Mr. Webb, announced. that all members of the Council. were present and the meeting was qualified to proceed with business. The reading of the minutes of the previous Aueust 27, ].r-i46, was dispensed with. ng of the council, held Mr. Webb reported that Mr. Fred H.. 7,urwelle had agreed to serve es Chairman and Mr. `;'hones P. Coogan as a member of the Board of pen under the Building Code Ordinance. Mr. Southerland stated that he had been unable to get in touch with Mr. August Geih,er, the third proposed member of the Board due to Mr. Geigets absence, from the city. The Village attorney again presented to the council the proposed ordinance constituting a builiine Code for Bat harbour Village.
