RESOLUTION APPOINTING INSURANCE BROKER OF RECORD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (the
"Borough") that the firm of Doyle Consulting Group Inc. is hereby appointed as
the broker of the Borough for all of its group health insurance coverages;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shah take effect March 1,
2001, with Doyle Consulting Group being authorized to immediately undertake
necessary activities in anticipation of and in preparation for said date;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough Clerk be and are
hereby authorized to execute documents required to accomplish the intended
purpose of the Resolution;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appointment is made without
competitive bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40 A: 11-.5 in that such insurance services
are specifically excluded;
BE Iq[' FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be advertised as
prescribed by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this action shall be published in
the Home News Tribune on February 20, 2001.

and certified as a true copy of the
