. their wives granting and conveying to the Town the right to
maintain the said sewer pipe line and three man-holes in and
through any and all interest said G . Shirley Myers arid Elijah
F. Myers have in said land , which said agreement o!G deed shall be
approved by Stilson H. Hall , Town Attorney.

seconded and carried , the Council adjourned •at 7 : 7 P. M.

At a regular meeting of the Mayor and Town Council of
the town of Leesburg , in Virginia held in the Council Chamber on
Monday May 13 , 1940 , at 8 : P. M. there were present , Lucas D. Phillips ;
Mayor , Louis T. Titus , Recorder and R. M. Flippo , J. T. Hourihane ,
J. L. Oliver , L. C. Rollins , J. D. Taylor and_ J . H.Turley , Couneil-
men.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held on April 8th
and those of a special meeting held on April 12 , 1940 were read
and upon motion duly made , seconded and carried , were approved as
read. •
The Auditor-Treasurer read his monthly report for the
month of April 1940.

• The Auditor-Treasurer presented the current bills and
uioon motion of Councilman Oliver , seconded by Councilman Turley .
and unanimously carried , the following Resolution was adopted ;
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg ,
in Virginia that the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby
authorized ; and instructed to pay the following bills ; •

Flippo- and unanimously carried the following Resolution was adopted ;
BE IT RESOLVED , by .the Council of the Town of Leesburg ,
in Virginia. the the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby
authorized and instructed to purchase two (2) pairs of •
trousers for the town-sergeant.

The Auditor Treasurer read his monthly report for the
month of May 1940 and also presented the current bills.
Upon motion of Councilman Oliver seconded by Councilman
Flippo and unanimously carried the following Pesolution was adopted ;
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg ,
in Virginia that the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby
