March 10 , 1941
At a regular meeting of the Mayor and Town Council of the
Town of Leesburg ,' in Virginia held in the Council Chamber on Monday
March 10 ,1941 at 7 :30 P. M. there were present ; Lucas D. Phillips ,
Mayor ; and R. M. Flippo , J. T . Hourihane , J . L. Oliver , L. C. Rollins ,
J. D. Taylor and J . H. Turley , Councilmen..
In the absence of the Recorder , Councilman Flippo was
appointed to act in his stead.
The reading of the minutes was dispensed with .
The Auditor-Treasurer read his monthly statement for the
month of February , 1940 and presented the current bills. Upon motion •
duly made , seconded and carried the following Resolution was adopted ;
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, In
Virginia that ' the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby , author-
ized , and directed to pay the following bills ;

On motion of Councilman Oliver , seconded by Councilman
Turley and. unanimously carried , the following Resolution was adopted ;
BE IT RESOLVED , by the Councikiof the Town of Leesburg , in
Virginia that the Auditor-Treasurer be and he. is hereby author-
ized to sell four of the Town ' s nevi stop signs to the Town of
Middleburey Virginia for the sum of $2.00 each.
Upon motion of Councilman Rollins seconded by Councilman
Hourihane and unanimously carried the following Resolution was adopted ;

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council.•:of the Town of Leesburg , in
Virginia that the salary of George• Hardy, an employee ofthe
town, be and it is hereby increased to $2.50 per day.
There being no further business , on motion duly made ,
seconded and carried ,the Council adl'ourned .
