RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR THE
ETHNIC FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret annually celebrates the diverse
ethnic heritage of its residents; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough believe that having a
fireworks display at the festival would be an enjoyable way to culminate
the event and an appropriate symbol of the community pride the festival
has come to represent; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is
necessary for the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and
Borough Clerk be and here by authorized to execute such documents as
are necessary to obtain any and all permits, and facilitate the" Ethnic
Festival" fireworks display.
Adopted this 9th day of July, 2003 and
certified as a tree copy of the original on
July 10, 2003.
