Nederhoff moved to approve the minutes of the May regular meeting. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
Nederhoff moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for May. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
May receipts by fund: General,27,983.70; Special, 24,377.01; Road Use Tax, 3,439.54; Debt Service, 64,640.73; TIF, 6,812.81; Water, 13,723.07; Sewer, 12,689.03; Garbage, 3,918.65 and
Library, 182.86.
Alan Fisher presented the public works report.
Mark Wiltfang, Fire Chief, presented information on a lease purchase program through Ford. Council asked for further information regarding lease purchase programs of Chevy and Dodge.
Kayla Nazario, Pool Manager, presented information on swimming pool programming for the summer and discussed the need for a pool lift. City Clerk is applying for Riekena Trust Funds
to pay for te pool lift.
Nederhoff moved to approve Resolution 06-2013-4 a resolution to approve a Bond Purchase Agreement, approving a Loan Agreement, and providing for the issuance of $795,000 General Obligation
Refunding Bonds, Series 2013 and providing for the levy of taxes to pay the same. Van Heiden seconded the motion. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried.
Nederhoff moved to approve Resolution 06-2013-5 a resolution to fix a date for a public hearing on proposal to enter into a Sewer Revenue Loan Agreement and borrow money in a principal
amount not to exceed $700,000. Eilderts seconded the motion. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried.
Van Heiden moved to adjourn. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried.
