AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING SECTION 3100
OF THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE BY
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 2008 EDITION OF
TITLE 32 OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE
CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3100 of the Temple City Municipal Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
3100: ADOPTION:
Ordinance No. 2007 -0112 of the County of Los Angeles: An Ordinance amending
Title 32 - Fire Code of the Los Angeles County Code by adopting portions of the
2007 Edition of the California Fire Code, which incorporates by reference the 2006
Edition of the International Fire Code, by reference, with certain changes and
modifications, is hereby adopted by reference, and Ordinance No. 86 -587 of the City
of Temple City is amended accordingly.
A. One copy of said Ordinance No. 2007 -0112 of the County of Los Angeles has been
deposited in the office of the City Clerk and shall be at all times maintained by said
Clerk for use and examination by the public.
B. Article 78 (fireworks) of said uniform fire code is hereby repealed and not made a part
of the Temple City fire code (1960 Code)
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the San Gabriel
Valley Weekly, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Temple City.

being Ordinance No. 07 -917, was introduced at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Temple City held on the 18th day of December, 2007 and was duly adopted by said Council at
their regular meeting held on the 2nd of January, 2008 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Capra, Vizcarra, Wilson, Gillanders, Wong
