Hall, attorney, .the ,original copy .of. the notice to Marguerite Diggs Sheppard, and others relating. to .the building. of side. walkton the North side of Loudoun Street of said Town with the Judgement of .the Committee, appointed by said Town, endorsed thereon, and said attorney, shall be athorized .to present said original notice with endorsement to the. Circut Court of. Loudoun County, in Virginia, in any legal proceed- ings relating .to this matter. Upon motion of C. W. Fiske seconded by Thelma J. Smmot, and unaminously carried the following resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town Cf Leesburg in .Virginia, be and he id hereby authorized and directed to pay to the members of the Leesburg Fire Depart- ment at the rate of $20.00 per annum for..the year ending December 31; 1950. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; that the Auditor-Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to deduct .any taxes,water rents or other levies from the amount due each Fireman should he owe any such taxes, water rents, or other levies. Upon motion of C. W. Fiske seconded by J. L. Oliver and unaminously carried the following resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, that one block on the South of the Leesburg High School be made a one way street, West. • There being no further business upon motion duly made seconded, and carried Council adjourned. 49441#114 ..Ar/on.ca.2 Mayor. Recorder. • . REGULAR DECEMBER 11, 1950. At a regular meeting of the Mayor and Town Council held in the Council Chamber on Monday, December 11, 1950, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. ,there were present Maurice R. Lowenbach, Mayor, Horace M. Hallett, Recorder, C. W. Fiske, E. H. James, Frank Raflo. and Thelma J. Smoot Councilmen. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of E. H. James . 'seconded by Thelma J. Smoot, and unaminously carried were 'approved as read. The Auditor-Treasurer read his monthly report for the month of November, 1950 and presented the current bills and upon motion, of Frank Raflo, seconded by E. H. Upon motion of Frank Raflo, seconded by E. H. James, and unaminously carried the following resoluiton was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, that the Auditor- of Public Accounts be, and he is hereby requested to make the necessary turn over to a newly appointed Auditor-Treasurer to succede the late A. At a special meeting of the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia, held in the Council Chamber on the 29 day of December, 1950, at which there were were pre- . sent J. L. Oliver, C. W. Fiske, Thelma J. Smoot, E. H. James, Frank Raflo, and Francis. L. Patton, being all members of the said Council, the following motion was passed by unanimous vote. WHEREAS, there is a vacancy in the office of Auditor-Treasurer of said Town by reason of the death of Arthur B. Richards; and
