ORDINANCE NO. 08 -924U
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
RESCINDING THE EXISTING MORATORIUM ADOPTED UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 65858 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE UPON NEW BUSINESSES OTHER
THAN RETAIL BUSINESSES IN ANY PROPERTY ALONG BOTH SIDES OF LAS TUNAS DRIVE FROM
ROWLAND TO SULTANA (THE STUDY AREA) AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS. 08 -919U,
08 -921U AND 08 -923U IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
The City Council of the City of Temple City does ordain, as follows:
Section 1: Findings. The City Council hereby determines:
A. That the Council heretofore adopted Ordinance Nos. 08 -919U, 08 -921 U and 08-
923U imposing a moratorium on uses permitted in the commercial zones of the City.
B. That the studies regarding the moratorium have now been completed.
C. That the Council now finds that the moratorium has served its purpose and may be
repealed.
Section 2: Ordinance No. 08 -919U, 08-921U and 08 -923U are hereby repealed and rescinded.
Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published according to law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2008.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance,
Ordinance No. 08 -924U, was introduced as an Urgency Ordinance at the regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 7th day of October 2008, and was duly passed,
approved and adopted by said Council at the regular meeting held on the 7th day of October 2008
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Giilanders, Vizcarra, Wong, Capra, Wilson
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
ABSTAIN: Councilmember -None
