James, and crried by a vote of 3 to 1 Gheen, James, and Lowenbach for Gill against, the following resolution was adopted: ' BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that Victor Jacksons salary be and it is hereby set at $195.00 per month, and that Lewis Ball and Athey salary be and it is hereby set at $190.00 per month. { Upon motion duly made seconded. and carried Council adjourned. . Lowenbach, Jr; (and Frank Ratio, Councilmen. . - The minutes of the previous regular and speci Th meeting were read and upon motion of Maurice R. Lowenbach Jr; seconded by Emmerson H. James; and-unaminously carried, they were approved as read. The Auditor-Treasurer read his monthly report for the month of September, 1953, his Quarterly report for the quarter ending September 30,. 1953, and upon motion of Reginald K. Gheen, seconded by Maurice R. Lowenbach Jr; and unaminously carr- ' - led, the following resolution was adopted: • -. WHEREAS, the Auditor-Treasurer has this,day presented to the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, a quarterly report of all receipts and analysis of all disbursements for the months of July, August, and September, 1953, • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the. Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, that the said quarterly report of the Auditor-Treasurer be and it is hereby approved and accepted by said Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, that the Auditor-Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized and instructedto have ,', _ a copy of said quarterly report published once:;iriS,newspEper :published in said . town and also post a copy of said report in front of the Court House in said town. The Auditor-Treasurer presented the current bills for the month of Septem- ber, 1953, and upon motion of Reginald K. Gheen, seconded by Emmerson H.
