Planning Commission Comments Jeff A. stated that he was surprised to not see more residents attending Planning and Zoning meetings, which are open to the public. Given that many people like to write letters to the newspaper complaining about different subjects, they don't seem to come to open meetings to express their feelings and concerns, which are welcomed and appreciated by the Commission. Jeff A. also explained he is part of Partners in Energy, which is a program between the Town and Excel to create a long term plan for energy efficiency. It is a 2 year collaboration that involves 4 months of planning and 20 months of implementation. 6. Sign Permit Application — Holy Toledo Janet H. displayed an illustration of the current banner on the side of the building of Holy Toledo, which would become a sign by being framed and mounted on wood. Commission didn't consider the nylon banner complies with the definition of a sign. The nylon still categorizes the sign as a banner.
