AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
PREPARATION OF THE REGIONAL CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
PROJECT PLAN/NORTH BRUNSWICK WITH HOUSING SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized professional services for
the preparation of the Regional Contribution Project Plan/North Brunswick; and
WHEREAS, Housing Services, Inc., possesses the requisite experience and expertise to
provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Housing Services, Inc. has submitted a proposal to provide said services, at
a total cost not to exceed $2,000.00; and
WHEREAS, thc Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Housing Services Inc. for professional services related to the
preparation of a Regional Contribution Agreement Project Plan/North Brunswick
at a total cost not to exceed $2,000.00 is hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract.
3. The copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Housing Services, Inc.
Adopted this 14th day of August, 2003
and certified as a tree copy of the original
on August 15, 2003.
