MaQ.> Pate) TY Recorder Pro Tem 11,14,14 SPECIAL MEETING, May 28, 1958 At a special meeting of the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, held May 28, 1958, at 7;30 P. M. in Council Chambers there were present : George J. Durfey, Mayor ; Howard B. Gill , • C. R. Hollandsworth, Reed Johnson, Mae Bass Mitchell, Oden Semones and J. Austin Wright . In the absence of the Recorder Mae Bass Mitchell was elected Recorder Pro Ten. The Mayor stated that• this meeting was called for the purpose of. the consideration of the proposed budget for the Town of Leesburg. Upon motion of Howard B. Gill, seconded by C . R. Hollandsworth and unanimously carried, it was : RESOLVED, That a special meeting be held in the Council • Chambers at the Town Office Building on June 23, ‘ 1958 at 7 : 30 P. M. to give any citizen of:-the Town an opportunity to express their views on the aforesaid budget; and, BE TT FliRTHER IESOLVED, That the sail budget was to have been published in a newspaper having general circulation in die Town on May 22, 1958 ; also the proposed changes in the license rates . • There being no further business to come before the meeting, the meeting upon motion duly made and seconded , adjourned. / Reco . er Pro Tem • IfAd , f /IL/ /l"� r° y i
