REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $2,508,930 THE 2003
BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE URBAN ENTERPRISE
ZONE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local Government
Services may approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the
budget of any municipality when such item shall have been made available by
law and the amount thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of
the budget, and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any item of
appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret hereby
requests the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve
the insertion of an item of revenue in the budget of the year 2003 in the sum of
$2,508,930 which item is now available as a revenue from the Urban
Enterprise Zone Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $2,508,930 be and the same
is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Urban Enterprise Zone Program $2,508,930
Adopted this 14th day of August, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the original
on August 15, 2003.
