On June 8, 2012 it was noted that Impact Electrical Services, Inc.
was working at the above residence. The workers advised that they
were replacing an electric.box that was connected to the swimming
pool. They further advised that a permit had been applied for and
the owner wanted it done in a hurry so he could have it inspected
the following week.
On further investigation it was discovered that a permit to do this
work had never been applied for, thus an inspection has not been
done. It was further discovered that the electrical company doing
the work was not registered to work in the Town.
You are in violation of Section 42 -26, as amended by Ordinance 09/9,
adopting by reference the Florida Building Code and the City
of Delray Beach Building Codes, all of which require an electrical
permit be obtained for this type of work.
This is to be considered official notice to correct this violation
7 days by obtaining a permit for the work. Failing to comply with
this order shall result in future action as provided in Chapter2,
Article III, Division 2 of the Code of Ordinances, a copy of which
is enclosed.
Very truly yours, -%d
