Durfb.y, • Mayor, C. Meloy Fishback, Howard B. Gill, Reed Johnson, Mae Bass Mitchell, and J. Austin Wright . ' • . In the absence of the Recorder Mrs . Mitchell was , • , elected recorder pro-tem. Upon motion of Mr. Wright , seconded by Mrs. Mitchell , and unanimously carried, the minutes of the meeting April 13, 1959, . referring to the L. W. Parker Trailer Court were corrected as follows: RESOLVED, that Lot 10 through 23 inclusive, in the L. . W. Parker. Tract be allowed to be used as a trailer court, provided that the Trailer Ordinance is complied with, which said ordinance shall become effective July 1 , 1959; and', that • - �O >c@j)enlargement of the trailer court wouldibe allowed without a plot plan for each trailer space being presented• to the - Building Inspector. The trailer park is to be located on • • the lots set forth in the resubdivision. • Upon motion of Mr. Gill, seconded by Mrs . Mitchell , the following resolution was unanimously adopted: • . RESOLVED, That the instd lation of• curbs only in front • of Lots 10 through 23 inclusite, of the L. W. Parker. Trailer Court in the L. W. Parker Resubdivision on east south street , .be and the same hereby are waived. Mr. Richard E. Hill, attorney at Law, discussed with . .Council the problem of obtaining a surety bond guaranteeing . the installation of the physical improvements of east south street in the proposed resubdivision of the L. W. Parker • • •Tract and .council requested Mr. Hill to keep them advised of such progress as he might make in securing. said bond. SPECIAL MEETING, JUNE 30, 1959 • At a special meeting of the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, held June 30, 1959, in Council Ehambers, there were present: George J. Durfey, Mayor ; C. Meloy Fishback, Howard B. Gill, Mae Bass Mitchell, ' and J. Austin Wright, Councillen. In the absence of the Recoder Mrs . Mitchell was elected Recorder pro-tem. 247 Upon motion of Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Fishback . the following resolution was unanimously approved: _ BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of •Leesburg, in Virginia, purchase from the Bailey' s Community Center, Incorporate, a portion of their property acquired from Lawrence Hutchison forty feet in width as shown on plat made by Robert K. Wilson, for the amount of $600.00, with the provision that Bailey 's Community Center will have access across the Richard Harris property; and, further, that the Bailey' s Community Center will furnish the Town of Leesburg with a clear title to said ,right-of-way. . " 1110, M c Recorder a • SPECIAL MEETING, JULY 3,1959 At a special meeting of the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, held July 3, 1959 in Council Chambers, there were present: George J. Dur fey, Mayor ; Elinor M. Cunningham, Recm der; C. Meloy Fishback, Howard B. Gill , Mae Bass Mitchell, Oden Semones and J. Austin Wright . The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting Oas to determine the exact amount of the bond issue. Upon motion of Mt . Fishback, seconded by Mr. Gill , and unanimously carried, it was: RESOLVED, that the amount of the proposed bond issue be set at Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300 ,000 .00) , this sum to take care of all the necessary easements, etc. necessary for the installation of water and swwer lines • in the newly annexed areas .
