OF SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 15, 1960
We, the undersigned, being members of the Town Council of the
Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, do severally waive all statutory
and Charter requirements as to notice of time , place and purpose
.111 of a Special Meeting of the Town Council and consent that the
meeting shall be held in the Council Chamber of the Town Council
at 12 :23 P.M. Friday April 15, 1960, for the purpose of considering
• the employment of a Resident Engineer and Inspector for the water
and sewer Contract between the Town of Leesburg and the English
Construction Company, Inc .

SPECIAL MEETING, APRIL. 15 , 1960
A special meeting of the Council for the Town of Lees- •
burg, in Virginia, was called to order by Mayor George J.
Babson at 12 :23 P. M. on April 15 , 1960. There were present
C. Maloy Fishback, Emerson H. James , Hunter M. Leach, John
W. Pumphrey and Austin J. Wright , Councilmen. . •
In the absence of the Recorder Mr. Austin J. Wright was '
elected Recorder pro-tem.
Upon motion of Mr . Fishback, seconded by Mr . Pumphrey,
the following resolution was unanimously approved:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council for the Town of Leesburg,
that the proposal of Walter L. Phillips , 152 I-Iillwood Avenue,
Falls Church, Virginia, be accepted for the position of
Resident Engineer and Inspector for the water and sewer in-
stallations as per contract between the Town of Leesburg, in
Virginia, and the English Construction Company, Inc . of Alta
Vista, Virginia.
