A. special meeting of the Council for the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, was to be- held at 6 :00 P. M. , December 27, 1960.
George J. Babson, Mayor, called the. meeting to order at 6 :20
P. M. There were present C. Maloy Fishback, George E. Isaacs,
Emerson H. James,• Hunter M. Leach, John. W.. Pumphrey- and Austin
J. Wright , Councilmen.
C. Maloy Fishback was unanimously elected Recorder pro-tem.
On motion of Mr. Fishback, seconded by Mr.. Wright, the

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council for the . Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia,. that .the contract entitled ."Agreement...for_.Water _ _
and Sewerage Disposal Service. Between Federal .viation. .Agency. _
and Town of Leesburg, Virginia, Contract No. FA-1-1594" , for-.
• warded to the Mayor by letter from :D. . Oshriver, Acting Chief.,_
Real Estate and: Utilities Section, Federal Aviation Agency,
dated December_-.21, 1960, be and; the same• -is • hereby ratified .

• . A special. meeting of the Council. .for the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, was to be held- at- 6:OO -P. M., January -6, 1961.
George J. Babson, Mayor, called the meeting to order at 6 :20
P. M. There were present C. Maloy rishback, Emerson H. James,
Hunter M. Leach, John W. Pumphrey.and Austin J. Wright,. Council-
men. '
' John W. Pumphrey was unanimously elected Recorder pro-tem.

Upon motion of Mr., Fishback, seconded-,by Mr. James, the.
following:--resolution was, unanimously-adopted:,
BE IT -RESOLVED, by the Council for the. Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, that the English Construction Company: be, and it .
is hereby authorized• and requested to—extend—the eight inch
water line east in Route #7 approximately twelve hundred (1200.)
feet to the intersection of the Fort Ev?ns Road, in accordance
with the present contract and approved drawings and specifications ;
and,

. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of Seven Thousand
Dollars ($7,000.00)--be appropriated from the -Water. and Sewer .. .
Fund for- the- above purpose•.- - •

REGULAR MELTING, JANUARY 9, 1961
A regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, was =to etheld January 9, 19o1 at S :J) P. -M. •
George J. Babson,- Mayor , called -tire meeting to order at10 :23
P. M. There were present C. Maloy Fishback , George E. Isaacs,
Emerson H. James, Hunter M. Leach , John W. Pumphrey and Austin
J. Wright , Councilmen. •
The minutes of the regular meeting of December 19 , 14o0
and the special meetings of December 27, . 1900 and January 6,
1961, were approved as written and read.
The Treasurer' s report was accepted ,as previously pre-
sented.
Upon motion of Mr. Fishback, seconded by Mr. Isaacs,
the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, the Tarn of Leesburg, in Virginia , by George
J. Babson, Mayor, authenticated that certain contract No.
FA-1594, entitled "Agreement for Water and Sewage Disposal
Service Between Federal Aviation Agency and the Tann of
Leesburg, Virginia, " and forwarded the same to tle Federal
Aviation Agency; and,
'WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Agency changed Art'ioae
1, Paragraph 9 to read "June 30, 1961, " and caused the said
amended contract to be executed on behalf of the United
States of -America,- Federal Aviation Agency, by D. Oshiver,
Acting Chief, Real Estate and Utilities Section, on January
4, 1961 ;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of
Leesburg, in Virginia, that said amended contract, attached
hereto, be, and the same is hereby accepted and confined,
and the authentication of said contract by George J. Babson,
Mayor, on behalf of the Town of Leesburg is ratified and
shall be fully effective from the adoption of this reso-
lution, as if re-authenticated by the said George J. Babson,
Mayor . -
