We, the undersigned, being members of the Town Council of the Town of
Leesburg, in Virginia, do severally waive all of the statutory and charter'
requirements as to notice of time, place and purpose of a Special Meeting
of the Town Council,and consent that the meeting shall be held in the Council
Thamber o£ the Town Council at 1:00':P.M. Monday July 31, 1961, for the
purpose of consideringgcertain Resolutions.

SPECIAL MEETING, JULY 31, 1961
•
A special meeting of. the Council for the Town of
Leesburg, in Virginia, was held at 1 :00 P. M. in Council - .-
Chambers on July 31, 1961. There were present : Stanley
F. Caulkins, George P. Hammerly, Emerson H. James and John ..
W. Pumphrey. -
In the absence of the Recorder Stanley F. Caulkins was
elected Recorder• pro-tem. .
The Mayor also being absent Emerson H. James was-unan-•:- -111
imously elected Mayor pro-tem.
Upon motion of Mr. Hammerly, seconded by Mr. Caulkins,
the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
BE. IT RESOLVED, by the Council for the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, that the Mayor and Recorder be, and they are -
hereby authorized to authenticate the_agreement of the 20th - •
day of July, 1961, between Charles T. Brosius and Harry S.
Hough and Masie Louise Hough, his wife, parties of the first
part, and the Town of Leesburg, granting the sewer line ease-
ment as described therein. (Copy .of this agreement appears •
on Page 417 of these minutes). •
Upon motion of Mr. Hammerly, seconded by Mr. Caulkins,. ..
the following= resolution was unanimously- adopted: :.::.. .
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council for the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia, that the Mayor and Recorder• be, andthey are .
hereby authorized to authenticate the agreement.' of the 12th•. -
day of July, 1961, between Rebbie deButts and the Town of
Leesburg granting the sewer line easement through "Parcel
A" to a point in the west line of "Parcel B-6" as described
therein. (Copy of this agreement appears on Page 418 of
these minutes)
Upon motion of Mr. Hammerly, seconded by Mr. Caulkins,
the meeting was unanimously adjourned.
