Regular Meeting of the Leesburg Town Council, July 9, 1962
A. regular meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on
July 9, 1962 in the Council Chambers Leesburg, Virginia.
Mayor Frank Raflo called the meeting to order at 7: 30 P .M.
.Councilmen present were George J. Babson, Stanley F. Caulkins ; George
• P . Hammerly, Hunter M. Leach, - Maurice•R. Lowenbach and John W.
Pumphrey. •
:Upon Motion of Councilman Lowenbach; seconded by Councilman
Babson the minutes of the June 25, 1962 meeting-were approved as
read with the general consent of the Council members.
The Mayor gave his report.
The report of the. Town Manager was given.
Councilman Babson objected to the discussion of denial by
Zoning Appeals Board to extend temporary permit for Fort _Evans-
Gardens sign. This objection was carried by a roll call vote. '
Nays, Councilmen Babson, Hammerly, Leach and Pumphrey. Abstained
pp Councilmen Caulkins and Lowenbach.

t. Upon Motion of Councilman Hammerly; seconded by Councilman
='- Babson and there being no further business to come before the Council
CC at -this time the meeting was adjourned at 70i-2 P.M; with the general
-agreement of the Council members.
