Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Leesburg Town Council, September
27, 1962
A Special Meeting of. the Leesburg Town Council was held in the
Council Chambers , Leesburg , Virginia on September 27, 1962 . ,
Mayor Frank Raflo called the meeting to order at 12:05 P .M.
Councilmen present were Stanley F. Caulkins , George P. Hammerly,
Hunter M. Leach, Maurice R. Lowenbach and John W, Pumphrey. Absent
from the meeting was Councilman Lynwood Lay.

Motion of .Councilman Hammerly; seconded by Councilman
ins the current proposed contracts pertaining to the acquisition
e Spitler and Chamblin Tracts for an airport site were brought
before the Council.
After much discussion among the Council Members the above mentioned
Proposed Contracts proposal was withdrawn by Councilman Hammerly and
Councilman Caulkins.
Upon Motion of Councilman Lowenbach; seconded by Councilman
Pumphrey and there being no further business to come before this
00 Special Meeting of the Council the meeting was adjourned at 12:35 P .M.
of with the general consent of the Council Members.
