A Regular. .Meeting cf the. Leesburg Town Council was held in the
Council Chambers,. Leesburg, . virginia on- October 8,. 1962.
Mayor Frank_Raflo called the meeting to order at 7:30P.M. ,E.D.T.
Councilmen present were Stanley_ F. Caulkins, George P. Hammerly, Lynwood
Lay, Hunter M. Leach, Maurice R. Lowenbach and John..W. Pumphrey.
_The minutes of the' Special Meetings of September 21, 1962 and
September 27, 1962; and . .the. minutes of .the Regular .Meeting. oi October
1, 1962 were approved as read with the general..consent at the Council.
The Town. Manager_ gave his report.
Upon Motion or Councilman Pumphrey; seconded by Councilman
Lowenbach the rollowing .resolution was unaminously approved by a roll
call vote.
WHEREAS,. Chapter 6, Section.6-1. oi the Charter. oi the Town of
Leesburg provides..for, a. substitute. Police Justice ana
WHEREAS, this .appointment by Council.has not been made

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council for the Tbwn a Leesburg,
in Virginia,..that Robert L. GYlliam_3rd is hereby appointed. Substitute
Police Justice, .efrective this date and shall _serve at the will. of. the
Council and be paid. at the. rate of $25.00 per Court session.

Upon Motion of Councilman Pumphrey; seconded. by Councilman Ham-
merly and there being.no_further business . Go cume before the Council
at this time Lite meeting. was.. adjournea at 8:00 P.M.E.D.T . with the
general consent of the Council
