AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY
THREE ACRES FROM RA TO MD FOR THE
EXPANSION OF OTTAWA INSTANT HOMES PARK
WHEREAS Don Gedert and Kay Gedert are the owners, hereinafter referred to as
Gederts, of a three acre parcel located at 1216 South Bloomington Street, Greencastle, Indiana,
Putnam County, Indiana, in the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 28,
Township 14 North, Range 4 West, in Greencastle Township; and,
WHEREAS Gederts petitioned for rezoning of such parcel before the Greencastle Plan
Commission from RA to MD; and,
WHEREAS the Greencastle Plan Commission has recommended the rezoning of said
parcel from RA to MD at its meeting on February 28, 1994, conditioned on the fact that
Gederts will come back before the Plan Commission for subdivision review and approval.
The Plan Commission has further approved the use of a .48 acre tract adjoining U. S.
Highway 231 for use as an additional access to the MD area.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that the following described tract in Putnam County Indiana be rezoned from RA
to MD:

NOW THEREFORE be it further ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that Gederts shall submit their further subdivision development plans (mobile
home park) to the Plan Commission for review and approval and that the .48 acre tract
adjacent to U. S. Highway 231 be utilized as an additional access area to the MD zoned area.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle
Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
