AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1993 -06
BEING THE 1994 SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 1993 -06, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
THE SIZE OF DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF
GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH
DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED
OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 1994" is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section Seven is amended to read as follows:
SECTION SEVEN That the Sewage Department shall consist of thirteen (13) full -
time members and two (2) part-time members. Base pay ranges, including the maximum,
shall be as follows:
M5- Superintendent
$23,400.00- 26,138.00 + longevity
M5- Assistant Superintendent
20,600.00- 23,168.00 + longevity
M4- Licensed Operator
18,600.00- 22,020.00 + longevity
M3- Maintenance Mechanic
16,600.00- 19,281.00 + longevity
M3- Vactor Operator
16,600.00- 16,850.00 + longevity
M3 -Lab Technician
(2 part-time @ 5.60 per hr)

M2 -Col. Sys. Maint. Supv.
15,600.00- 16,600.00 + longevity
M2 -Shift Operator

That the Sewage Department shall pay to the Deputy Clerk- Treasurer of the City
of Greencastle for services rendered by the Deputy Clerk- Treasurer on behalf of the
Sewage Department during the year 1994 the sum of Three Thousand, Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($3,250.00)
That the Sewage Department shall pay to the City Engineer of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by
the City Engineer on behalf of the Sewage
Department during the year 1994 the sum
of Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars
($13,600.00).
® That the Sewage Department shall pay to each of the two (2) citizen members of
the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by
the citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Sewage
Department during the year 1994 the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
2. Section Ten is amended to read as follows:
SECTION TEN That the salaries of certain other appointed officials of the City of
Greencastle shall be as follows:
C5 -City Engineer
C4- Deputy Clerk- Treasurer
C3 -City Hall Secretary
(2 part-time)
C3- Building Inspector
Animal Control Officer
(1@ 6.00 per hr)
