AN ORDINANCE REZONING 6 -LOT
YORKSHIRE SUBDIVISION
FROM R -1 TO R -2
WHEREAS, it was requested that the following described real estate be rezoned from
R -1 to R -2; and
WHEREAS, the rezoning was approved by the Plan Commission at its meeting on
March 28, 1994, and certified to the legislative body;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA,
THAT:
SECTION I. The following described real estate, and the same is, hereby rezoned
• from R -1 to R -2, to -wit:
Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam and being a part of Lot #54
of Railroad Enlargement to the City of Greencastle, more particularly described
to -wit:
Beginning at a point 20 feet East of the Southwest corner of Lot #54 of Railroad
Enlargement to the City of Greencastle, said point of beginning, being on the
East right -of -way line of Union Street; thence Northerly 489.06 feet with said
East right -of -way line to the South line of a 12 foot alley in the Silvers Plat to
f the aforesaid Lot #54; thence Easterly 193.38 feet with the South line of said
alley; thence Southerly 491.3 feet (493.02 prior deed) with an established fenced
line to a point on the South line of the aforesaid Lot #54; thence West 184.8
feet (Prior deed 188.1) to a point of beginning, containing 2.17 acres, more or
less.
Subject to all rights -of -way and pertinent easements of record.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
promulgation, approval by the Mayor and publication in accordance with the law.
