RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF THE 2011 SEWER LINING PROJECT
WHEREAS: Visu -Sewer has completed the contracted work of cleaning and lining the
second section of city sanitary sewer in accordance to the contract signed for approval of such
work on March 14, 2011.
WHEREAS: on the 29th of July Visu -Sewer has presented an invoice for the amount of
$56,610.50 for payment from the City of Tiffin.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to approve and make
payment to Visu -Sewer for the amount of $56,610.50 with funds from the Local Option Sales
Tax Fund as budgeted by City Council and the Council directs the Mayor and City Clerk to
proceed with payment.
At a regular City Council meeting on the 10th day of August 2011 Resolution 2011 -36 was
introduced by Councilperson Chris Ball and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Travis Weipert.
AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
NAY:None
ABSENT: None
With: Five votes for approval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2011 -36
RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF THE 2011 SEWER LINING PROJECT by affixing
his signature.
