AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE BLOCKS 1, 2 AND 5
SILVERS SURVEY, RAILROAD ENLARGEMENT
WHEREAS the City of Greencastle notified all property owners in Blocks 1, 2 and 5
Silver Survey, Railroad Enlargement bounded by Martinsville, West and East Streets,
Greencastle, Indiana, Putnam County, Indiana. Said notice was properly published in the Banner
Graphic.
WHEREAS the City of Greencastle, by and through its Building Commissioner petitioned
for rezoning of such parcels before the Greencastle Plan Commission from C2 to RI; and
WHEREAS such property is within the city limits of the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS the Greencastle Plan Commission, did at its regular meeting hold on May
23, 1994, unanimously recommend the rezoning of said parcels from C2 to Rl;
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
that the following tracts in Putnam County, Indiana be rezoned from C2 to RI:

Blocks 1, 2 and X of Silvers Survey, Railroad Enlargement
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage by the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval of the Mayor.
