Home My Public Portal About1994-10 Department Size and SalaryORDINANCE 1994 -10 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 1995 BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, as follows: SECTION ONE That all eligible full time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle shall be paid longevity beginning the first day of the anniversary month of the fourth year of service. Longevity shall be based of 3 %, 4% and 5 %: at 3 -5 years of service, 3 %; 6 -11 years of service, 4 %; and 12 years of service and over, 5 %. Full time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207. SECTION TWO That the Police Department shall consist of eighteen (18) full time members and in addition, part time dispatchers in the maximum allowable number and five (5) part time school crossing guards. That the Sewage Department shall pay to the City Engineer of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the City Engineer on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 1995 the sum of S Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Forty Four Dollars ($14,144.00). That the Sewage Department shall pay to each of the two (2) citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 1995 the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). SECTION EIGHT That the Department of members and two (2) part time members.
