I note that you waited over ten months to respond to my request. And that you responded with a quote for the cost to me to obtain the records rather than provide the records requested. I have forwarded your response herein for your reference. I protest this unacceptable ten month delay and wish you to know that my responding to your delayed response is not in any way my acceptance of this delay and I do not relinquish my constitutional right to obtain public records in a reasonable amount of time. You have provided a collective response to four separate and singular public record requests made by me. I consider the estimate to collectively produce these records to be too high. To produce the documents for that you have requested, the Town of Gulf Stream estimates the need for 2 hours of administrative support at $39.23 per hour, the labor cost of the personnel providing the service, per Fla. Stat. § 119.07(4)(d). If the costs of producing these documents will exceed your deposit, the Town will provide you with an initial production of responsive records and an estimate for the production of any additional responsive records. If the costs of production are less than the deposit, the Town will provide you with the responsive records and a refund. If you would like to narrow the scope of your request, for example, by identifying a particular document type or date range, the Town may be able to provide these records at a lower cost.
