WAIVER OF NOTICE
OF
SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 25 , 1969 •

We , the undersigned, being members of the Town Council
of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia, do severally waive all
statutory and Charter requirements as to notice of time ,
place and purpose of a Special Meeting of the TownfCouncil,
and consent that the meeting shall be held in the Council
Chambers of the Town Council at 11:45 A.M. , Wednes'dyy,
June 25 , 1969, for the purpose of considering \bid" on a
$600,000 General Obligation Bond Issue, said bids to be
opened in the Office of the State Treasurer in Richmond,
Virginia at 12 Noon, and any such other business as may
come before said Council .

SPECIAL MEETING OF LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL, JUNE 25 , 1969.
A Special Meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held in the
Council Chambers , 10 West Loudoun Street , Leesburg, Virginia, on June
25 , 1969 at 11:45 A.M. Present were : Mayor Kenneth B . Rollins , Council-
men G. Dewey Hill, Frederick R. Howard, Walter F. Murray, John W. Pum-
phrey .and John A. Wallace , .Jr. ; also Town Manager James W. Ritter, Jr.
Absent from the meeting was Councilman Robert A. Orr.
The Waiver of Notice of this Special Meeting is attached hereto
and is signed by all members of Council .
A telephone call from the Town Attorney , George M. Martin, who was
in the Office of the Commissioner on Local Debt in Richmond, Virginia,
revealed the following bids on the $600 ,000 General Obligation Bonds to
. be sold on this date :

It was recommended by the Commission that the low bid of
Davenport & Co. , Managers , Stein Bros . & Boyce, Inc . and Mackall &
Coe be accepted and Council accepted this bid by unanimous consent,
with the formal resolution to be adopted at the regular meeting to be
held at 7 :30 P.M. this same date .
There being no further business , the meeting adjourned at 12 : 15 P.M.
