AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
T&M ASSOCIATES / INSPECTION OF THE BOROUGH'S SEWER
SYSTEM IN THE LOWER ROOSEVELT AVENUE AREA
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret ("Borough") is in need of professional
services related to the television inspection of the Borough's sewer system related
to the lower Roosevelt Avenue Area; and
WHEREAS, T&M Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to
provide said engineering services; and
WHEREAS, T&M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said
engineering services at a cost not to exceed $22,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal of T&M Associates for engineering services
with regard to the television inspection of the Borough's sewer
system related to the lower Roosevelt Avenue Area is hereby
approved in a total amount not to exceed $22,500.00.
2. The appropriate Borough officials are hereby authorized to
enter into an agreement with T&M Associates to provide the above
described services.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5(1)(a)
Adopted this 14th day of August, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 15, 2003.
