AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2007 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2007 on September 27th, 2006 with Ordinance 52-2006; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from available
surpluses in the contractual services accounts (3000 series) in the Park
Reverting Fund to the Park Nonreverting Fund to cover that fund's 2007
cash deficit.
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2007 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund - Park Department
Delete $4,000.00 from Professional Services
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3120
Delete $2,000.00 from Postage
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3220
Delete $1,000.00 from Travel
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3240
Delete $25,000.00 from Electric
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3510
Delete $6,715.00 from Water
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3540
Add $38,715.00 to Transfer out
Account number 219.19.190.190.000.3974
