Home My Public Portal AboutRES2022-01_Specifying Fees for the City of Iona_02152022 RESOLUTION NO. 2022-01 A Resolution Specifying the Fees for the City of Iona WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Iona, Idaho (the "Council") has enacted sections of the Iona City Code, allowing for the collection of fees based on the occurrence of various occurrences, applications, or circumstances; and WHEREAS the Council has inquired into the costs to the City associated with processing the various kinds of applications, with publishing required notices, with mailing other required notices, and with conducting necessary background checks; WHEREAS the Council desires to relate the fees imposed by the City to the costs the City is required to incur in association with applications; WHEREAS the Council has also inquired into the costs to the City associated with other occurrences and circumstances under which the City charges a fee in order to make such fees commensurate with the costs and policies of the City; and WHEREAS the Council desires to provide a general guide to the fees charged by the City, recognizing that such a guide is generalized and the Iona City Code contains all of the details necessary for any person to understand all of the fees charged by the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO: 1.
